Next Saturday, November 21st, at 7pm Brazilian Time (11pm Rome Time), the monument to Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro will be illuminated with the colours of the world event “The Economy of Francesco” (EoF), olive green, light brown and yellow.
It is an online meeting of young people from all around the world, between 19th and 21stof November, in reference to Saint Francis, the Poor Little Man of Assisi, who, in the 13th century, gave up his fortune to embrace equality and nature. The event in Assisi will be held in live streaming on the portal francescoeconomuy.org, and Pope Francis will participate virtually.
