The Action of Love of Christ the Redeemer, on last Saturday, the 26th, was present at the one year celebration of WYD Rio2013, at the San Sebastian Cathedral, offering services geared to health and citizenship.
1,100 doses of vaccine (Hepatitis B and MMR) were dispensed and there was the distribution of kits for oral hygiene. Testing services for blood glucose, physical activity (for different ages), stand for prevention and Dengue control, and a digital inclusion booth took part in this action. The initiative has as partners the Health Department and the Department of Science and Technology (SECT).
"It was a joy to serve the youth and their families, promoting health and wellness. In this way, the evangelization becomes complete," said project coordinator, Silvia Gonzaga.
