Pirelli, Supporting Company of Christ the Redeemer, completes 85 years in Brazil and, to celebrate, is going to present the Brazilians. The Italian multinational handed the Monument fully restored, after the damage by lightning in one of his hands and head.
And to celebrate its birthday, Pirelli launched an interactive action that invites visitors to discover "how Christ the Redeemer looks at you." The action aims to take pictures of people positioned in a certain target, bounded on the plateau of the Monument, from the head of Christ.
Whoever wants to participate will inform their Instagram for images to appear on their social networks. But for those interested who do not have the app, the pictures can be found in the hot site of the action, which has a panoramic view captured by the "look of the Christ" in real time.
For the action, four cameras were mounted on the head of the Monument, one of them to capture the images, in video, of the general view of the site. And another camera, with super zoom technology, to take pictures of the participants. The others should work 24 hours, one facing Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and the other to Guanabara Bay.
