Action of Love of Christ the Redeemer back to the City of God

On the last Sunday, August 12th, the Action of Love of Christ the Redeemer held a campaign for citizenship in the City of God. This time, the action aimed to celebrate Father's Day in a different way. 

The project involved the partnership of Globo Rio, Veiga de Almeida University (UVA), the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae), the Central Unica das Favelas (CUFA), the League of Community Entrepreneurs (LEC), of the National Cancer Institute (INCA), Program Guidance and Consumer Protection (PROCON), the Legislative Assembly of Rio (ALERJ), the Foundation Leo XIII, the Worker Call Center (CEAT) and of the Reciclarx Institute. 

Cultural, social activities, and health services such as glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, hepatitis C, indication of blood type, were available to the population. Those interested could also take the opportunity to issue documents to seek social and legal guidance, to know about consumer protection, enroll in job bank and acquire information about entrepreneurship and environmental education. The action also had an area of "aesthetic beauty", which had the collaboration of volunteers from the locality.
